Foundation Stone Laid for Global Peace Village, A Retreat Centre of Brahma Kumaris
Bidar, Karnataka: Dadi Janki, Chief Administrative Head of the Brahma Kumaris, opened the Renovated Shiv Shakti Bhawan at Rampure Colony, Bidar, by cutting the ribbon. In this ceremony, a huge gathering of Brahma Kumaris students assembled to listen to the words of blessings by Respected Dadi Janki. The flag of Shiva was also hoisted at this occasion.
Dadi Janki also chaired a program for VIPs at Sapna Convention Hall in Bidar the same day. The next day, the foundation stone of Global Peace Village, another Retreat Centre of the Brahma Kumaris, was laid by respected Dadi at Yadlapur village in Bidar. A Felicitation ceremony of more than 100 BK students was conducted where the surrendered BKs from Mount Abu and Bidar were felicitated.
Dadi Janki’s 103rd birthday and the 75th birthday of BK Santosh, Director, Brahma Kumaris, Maharashtra Zone, were also celebrated with great love and fervor.
Bandeppa Khashempur, Minister for Co-operation, Government of Karnataka, MLA, said that he has never visited Mount Abu but, participating in this huge gathering at Bidar, he expressed his gratitude for the establishment of a big Brahma Kumaris Retreat centre in Bidar like the one at Mount Abu. The Minister felt that today, we need peace and faith in God’s work.
Rahim Khan, Minister for Sports and Youth Services, Government of Karnataka, MLA, said that the establishment of a huge Brahma Kumaris centre in the district is a matter of great honour which shall establish peace in the area.
Dadi Janki, Chief of the Brahma Kumaris, said that courage and confidence can help one win the whole world. She said that the sacrifice of BK students has established peace in the world. In the 142 countries of the world, BK Centres have been established and she advised everyone to participate in this holy act of establishment of peace in the world.
Shri Shivanand Acharya of Dhamlur, Swami Jyotirmanandni Maharaja Sanidhya, presided over the program.
