Empowering the Intellect in Student Life

Rajim, Gariyaband, Chhatisgarh: National Youth Day was celebrated on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti at the local Girls Senior Secondary School jointly by school authorities and the Brahma Kumaris.
The Keynote speaker at the occasion, BK Narayan, the National Co-ordinator of the Religious Wing, said that ‘Success depends on a peaceful and stable mind. However hard you may work at school, more than your hard work, your success depends on your attitude. Due to a pessimistic approach, these days minds are full of envy, revengefulness, suspicion and worries and hence mind creates a lot of thoughts, due to which intellect is not able to make a right decision. The intellect is becoming more and more weak. One’s memory is becoming weak too.’
He further added that in ontemporary times instead of development of intellect, it is becoming free; intellect has deteriorated and become inactive. Rajayoga helps in developing the inner powers and hence inculcates character. Swami Vivekananda also said that we need a method of education which could bring about holistic development of a man, enhance the mental power, expand the intellect, which enables one to become self sufficient, and teaches one to remain stable even during difficult times.
Krishna Kant, Principal, Girls Senior Secondary School, said that discipline and meditation carry a great importance in student life. Meditation practice every day makes the mind peaceful and powerful. Vivekananda too drew attention towards Rajayoga Meditation.
BK Rajkumari introduced the Brahma Kumaris organization to the audience. The Brahma Kumaris have been working selflessly towards the establishment of peace, unity and love worldwide through Rajayoga for the last 83 years.
The stage was coordinated by Santosh Sharma, a teacher of the school. Everyone was welcomed by offering a garland and tilak. Vivek Sharma, Jagannath Sahu, Vishwa Kumar Yadu, Nira Tiwari, Ranjan Sahoo, Kiran Sharma and other teachers were present at the event.
बुद्धि का विकास हो अवकाश नहीं, राजयोग से ही बुद्धि दिव्य बनती है ।                        
राजीम, गरियाबंद, छतीसगढ़: एक अच्छी सफलता शांत मन, स्थिर चित्त पर निर्भर करती है। आप चाहे स्कूल में कितनी भी मेहनत करते हैं मेहनत से ज्यादा आपके सोचने के तरीके पर सफलता आधारित होती है। आज मन नकारात्मक होने के कारण ईर्ष्या, द्वेष, बदला लेना, अनुमान, शंका, चिंता के कारण मन अशांत व ज्यादा सोच विचार करने वाला बन गया जिसके कारण बुद्धि सही निर्णय नहीं ले पाती है। बुद्धि की शक्ति खत्म होती जा रही है। याददास्त भी कमजोर हो जाती है। यह विचार इंदौर से पधारे धार्मिक प्रभाग के राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारी सदस्य ब्रह्माकुमार नारायण भाई ने स्वामी विवेकानंद जयंती के अवसर पर आयोजित राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस पर स्थानीय शासकीय कन्या उच्चतर माध्यमिक विद्यालय में 525 छात्रओ को संबोधित करते हुये व्यक्त किए। उन्होंने बताया कि आज की शिक्षा से बुद्धि का विकास के बजाय अवकाश ज्यादा हो गया है, बुद्धि जड़ हो गई है, बुद्धि का पतन हो गया,  निष्क्रियता बढ़ गई। राजयोग के माध्यम से ही आंतरिक शक्तियों का विकास होने से जीवन में चरित्र निर्माण होता है। स्वामी विवेकानंद ने भी कहा हम ऐसी शिक्षा चाहते हैं जिससे मानव का सर्वांगीण विकास हो, मस्तिष्क की शक्ति में वृद्धि हो, बुद्धि का विस्तार हो जिसके माध्यम से व्यक्ति अपने पैरों पर खड़ा हो सके, समस्याओं व बाधाओ में विचलित होने के बजाय अचल स्थिर रह सके। कार्यक्रम के आरम्भ में विद्यालय प्राचार्य कृष्णकांत जी ने बताया कि विद्यार्थी जीवन में अनुशासन व ध्यान का बड़ा महत्व है।  प्रत्येक दिन ध्यान का अभ्यास करने से मन शक्तिशाली, शांत होता है। विवेकानंद ने भी राजयोग पर हमारा ध्यान आकर्षित कराया। ब्रह्माकुमारी राजकुमारी ने संस्था का परिचय दिया। संस्था विश्व में राजयोग के माध्यम से शांति, एकता, प्रेम, स्थापना के कार्य में विगत 83 वर्षों से निस्वार्थ रीती से कार्यरत है। आरम्भ में विद्यालय शिक्षक संतोष शर्मा ने कार्यक्रम का संचालन कविता के माध्यम से किया। सभी का स्वागत माला व चंदन के टीके से किया और अंत में आभार प्रकट करते हुए बताया कि ज्ञान से ध्यान श्रेष्ठ है हमें ज्यादा इंफॉर्मेशन इकट्ठे करने के बजाय आंतरिक विकास पर ध्यान देना चाहिए जो कि ध्यान से ही संभव है। बच्चों में बुद्धि क
ा विकास मन की एकाग्रता के लिए राजयोग एक सशक्त साधन है। कार्यक्रम में विवेक शर्मा, जगन्नाथ साहू, विश्व कुमार यदु, नीरा तिवारी, रंजन साहू, किरण शर्मा और अन्य टीचर उपस्थित थे।
