18th Annual Day Celebrations of Brahma Kumaris Om Shanti Retreat Centre

Gurugram (Haryana): The 18th Annual Day of the Om Shanti Retreat Centre was celebrated in Gurugram by the Brahma Kumaris. Dadi Ratan Mohini, Joint Chief of Brahma Kumaris, and BK Shivani, International Motivator, were present on the occasion. Chief Guest Mrs. Madhu Acharya, Mayor of Gurugram, and Additional Police Commissioner Dr. Rishipal as Special Guest were present at the function.
The Annual Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, pomp and show. As a significance a special 18-foot-long cake was prepared and powerful divine vibrations were transmitted to the whole World through Rajayoga Meditation.  Reading beautiful poetry, singing very melodious touching songs and performing graceful dances made the atmosphere lively. A memorable song in praise of ORC was composed and sung in Hindi, meaning “That beautiful Garden of Flowers, Lying in the Lap of loving Mother Nature, which is our Ambition, That’s what is our ORC.” All those present enjoyed the events heartily.
Mrs. Madhu Acharya stated that the Brahma Kumaris are transmitting vibrations of pure thoughts and striving to empower the minds of people. She said, “Purity of Minds alone can make our behaviour great and exemplary.” She then appealed to people to learn what is taught at the Brahma Kumaris and to adopt that in life. She said, “As much as we are rich in Spirituality and Moral Values, we become bold to face and solve the problems in life.”
Dr. Rishipal said, “The Brahma Kumaris are really performing the major task of transforming this World. In particular creating this Serenity at ORC, in the vicinity of the Capital Delhi, spreading the Divine Vibrations and making the surrounding atmosphere most Powerful”. He said, “Whenever I came here, I saw supernatural Softness in the faces and mannerism of Sisters, and the experience cannot be expressed in words.”
Revered Dadi Ratan Mohini, in her presiding speech said, “To realize Peace, it is necessary to know our Self identity. Celibacy is our true original quality.” She said, “As much can we stay in our pure State, so much it becomes easier to remain in Peace.”
BK Shivani in her inspirational talk said, “We must become the values Personified, then we can inspire others”. She said that we have to make entire World beautiful to live in. First we must elevate our own Traits, then only transformation of the World will become possible.
Narrating about the activities at ORC in detail, BK Asha, Director of ORC, said various Management programs are conducted at the behest of Government for their Higher Officials to improve skills.
BK Brij Mohan, Additional Chief of Brahma Kumaris said that the main object of this Organisation is to re-establish the superior society full of Peace, Prosperity and Happiness. He said that our India was once a Paradise, Satyug where Deities used to live. The same has now become the Hell, Kaliyug. It is to be rebuilt as Heaven.
The program was well attended by more than 5000 participants from across the world.
