Brahma Kumaris Distribute Waste-Decomposing Units on "World Soil Conservation Day"

Phoolkhedi, Madhya Pradesh: December 5th was celebrated as World Soil Conservation Day by the Brahma Kumaris of Rajgarh Centre with the villagers in Phoolkhedi village in Madhya Pradesh.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. Akhilesh Srivastav, the Senior Scientist at the Agricultural Science Centre in Rajgarh. Along with him the Village Sarpanch Mr. Gopal Panwar, Mr. Arvind Saxena, Dist. Centre in-Charge BK Madhu and BK Surekha were also present. The Program was commenced by lighting the lamps by the Guests and the Brahma Kumaris. Dr. Akhilesh Srivastav, in his address to the Villagers, gave some tips for conserving the quality of Soil.
BK Madhu asked all those who assembled to consider the Earth as a Mother because she provides everything that is essential for living. Therefore she appealed to everyone to plant a sapling each on their Birthdays.
To entertain the audience, Kumari Varsha performed a dance to the song, “Sansar ko Hara Bhara… ” (See the World full of Greenery/Prospering).
Kumari Nandini recited a poem on Soil Conservation. A playlet was also enacted emphasizing the importance of celebrating this Day for preserving the quality of Soil for a Healthy Society. At the end everyone was inspired to take a pledge to keep this noble objective alive. Before closing the function villagers were presented Waste-Decomposing Units for the preparation of Organic Manure for the cultivation.

प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्वविद्यालय के द्वारा फुलखेड़ी गांव में ” विश्व मृदा दिवस” मनाया गया । इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में डॉ अखिलेश श्रीवास्तव कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र के वरिष्ठ कृषि वैज्ञानिक, फुलखेड़ी ग्राम सरपंच गोपाल पंवार, भ्राता अरविंद सक्सैना , ब्रम्हाकुमारी मधु बहन, ब्रम्हाकुमारी सुरेखा बहन ने दीप प्रज्वलन कर कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ कर किया।
कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित कृषि विज्ञान अधिकारी अखिलेश श्रीवास्तव जी ने मिट्टी की उर्वरक क्षमता को बढ़ाने के लिए उपाय बताएं । ब्रह्मा कुमारी मधु बहन ने विश्व मृदा दिवस पर सभी से धरती को मां मानते हुए मृदा संरक्षण करने व अपने जन्मदिन पर एक पौधा अवश्य ही लगाने की अपील की । ताकि मृदा का संरक्षण हो सके। इस अवसर पर कु.नंदिनी ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण के विषय को लेकर कविता सुनाई। वही कुमारी वर्षा ने” संसार हो हरा भरा ” नामक गीत पर डांस प्रस्तुति दी । वहीं मृदा संरक्षण के लिए प्रेरणादाई ड्रामा भी दिखाया गया। साथ ही मृदा संरक्षण व पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए प्रतिज्ञा वा नारे लगवाए गए। वहीं जैविक खाद बनाने के लिए वेस्ट डी कंपोजर का वितरण ग्राम वासियों को किया गया।
