Brahma Kumaris Work Towards Empowering the Disabled

Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh: The Brahma Kumaris of Chhatarpur celebrated the United Nations Day for the Disabled at their local centre with great enthusiasm where the specially abled children presented various cultural performances.
The program commenced with a Welcome dance presented by tiny girls of the CWCN Hostel for Disabled. The guests for the program, BK Patouria, an artist deputed in the Social Justice Department; I. A. Khan; Sujit Yadav, CWCN Hostel for Disabled; Anita, Pragatishil Hostel; Rachna Rathour, Patwari; BK Rama; BK Kalpana; BK Roopa; BK Monica; and Om Prakash Aggrawal, together lit the lamps to inaugurate the program.
BK Rama, in her inspirational words, said, “A human being is capable of taking his life to any heights through his inner power if he has positive thoughts. All of us have been assigned some task by the Almighty but this depends on the faith of the self how we achieve this target.” She also told an inspirational story of Baba Bharti and gave the message of benevolence, mercy and cooperation.
Thereafter, the tiny tots presented a dance giving the message of the struggles of life. The song played with this dance was ‘Diya aur Toofan ki kahani (story of the lamp and the storm)’. The scene of the struggle of the lamp with the storm mesmerized the audience.
The disabled present shared their experiences. The program was beautifully coordinated by BK Kalpana.

छतरपुर। संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ द्वारा घोषित 3 दिसम्बर विश्व दिव्यांग दिवस के अवसर पर आयोजित दिव्यांग समानता एवं सशक्तीकरण कार्यक्रम स्थानीय ब्रह्माकुमारीस सेवाकेंद्र में उमंग-उत्साह के साथ मनाया गया जिसमें दिव्यांग बालक-बालिकाओं द्वारा विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किये गये ।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ स्वागत नृत्य के साथ हुआ, नृत्य की प्रस्तुति सी.डबल्यू.एस.एन दिव्यांग छात्रावास की नन्ही-मुन्नी बालिकाओं ने दी। कार्यक्रम में अतिथि के रूप में पधारे सामाजिक न्याय विभाग में पदस्त प्रमुख कलाकार बी.के. पटैरिया, आई.ए. खान, सी.डबल्यू.एस.एन दिव्यांग छात्रावास से सुजीत यादव, प्रगतिशील छात्रावास से अनीता, पटवारी रचना राठौर एवं ब्रह्माकुमारी विद्यालय से बी.के. रमा, बी.के. कल्पना, बी.के. रूपा, बी.के. मोनिका, ओम प्रकाश अग्रवाल ने दीप प्रज्जवलन कर कार्यक्रम की शोभा बढ़ाई।
इस मौके पर बी.के. रमा ने अपने प्रेरणादायी उद्बोधन में कहा ‘‘मनुष्य अपने आत्म बल के आधार पर जीवन के किसी भी लक्ष्य तक पहुंच सकता है बषर्ते उसकी सोच सकारात्मक हो। हम सभी को ईश्वर ने एक विशेष कार्य के लिए इस सृष्टि पर भेजा है परन्तु यह हमारे आत्मविश्वास पर निर्भर करता है कि हम अपने लक्ष्य तक किस प्रकार पहुंचें। इसके साथ-साथ रमा बहन ने बाबा भारती की कहानी सुनाकर दिव्यांग बच्चों को उपकार, दया और सहयोग की भावना का संदेश दिया। इसके बाद विद्यालय के बाल कलाकारों द्वारा प्रस्तुत नृत्य-नाटिका में मनुष्य जीवन के संर्घष का संदेश दिया और तूफान की कहानी गीत पर नन्हे निर्बल दीपक की तूफान से लड़ाई के दृश्य  ने दर्शकों का मन मोह लिया। साथ ही साथ उपस्थित दिव्यांगजनो ने अपने जीवन से जुड़े अनुभवों का साझा किया। कार्यक्रम का सफल संचालन बी.के कल्पना ने किया।
