"Living a Life of Happiness through small Acts of Goodness"
Mandi, Himachal Pradesh: A combined program for administrators, police officers and staff was organized under the topic “Living a Life of Happiness through small Acts of Goodness“. BK Sheela, BK Ram Prakash from the USA, BK Narender, BK Raj Thakur and Additional SP BK Puneet Raghu inaugurated the program by lighting the lamps.
BK Ram Prakash shared his experiences of how honesty, hard work, courage and spirituality helped him in his professional and personal life. He said, “Work hard, that will give you satisfaction and strength. Take every challenge as an opportunity, just overcome the fear and you have the capability to do it.” BK Ram shared his experience of the 9/11 attack at the World Trade Center in New York. At the time of crisis he was not only stable but also helping others. He said, “Don’t hesitate to be good, have courage to be good. We are all innocent from inside. Innocence is our original nature and we have to live that. The secrets of love, peace and happiness lies there. An Act of goodness is actually doing a bit extra beyond our duties, obligations and expectations. Just as a minute sub atomic particle can start a chain reaction and results into a big explosion, similarly, the power of good wishes and acts of goodness shows Domino’s effect and can bring a world of Happiness once again on earth.”
Another program was organized at Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Medical college, where medical students, some of the faculty members and Heads of the Departments, and officiating Principal attended the program. After both the programs some motivational videos were shown and BK Ram Prakash explained about the project “7 Billion Acts of Goodness,” its launching and service report.
A press conference, a public program and a BK class were also organized. The audience of all of the above programs willingly pledged to be a part of this “7 Billion Acts of Goodness” campaign.
