Brahma Kumaris Pay Homage to Road Victims, Chhatarpur

In the remembrance of road accident victims, a symposium was organized at the Assembly Hall of the Brahma Kumaris in Chhatarpur, where road accident victims along with their family members and many dignitaries of the town paid homage to the departed souls by lighting lamps.
The Chief guests at the occasion were P.K. Nigam, A.D.J. (Additional Judge); Naurin Nigam, A.D.J.; Dr. K.K. Chaturvedi, Senior Physician; and Vineet Tiwari, Platoon Commander of Home Commandant. In the beginning session of the program, B.K.Shailja, the Centre Coordinator of the Chhatarpur centre of the Brahma Kumaris, shared the highlights of the program with the audience. She said that the United Nations has declared the third week of November to be World Remembrance Day for Road Accident Victims. Hence, the Transport Wing of the Brahma Kumaris have organized this program at the international level.
P.K. Nigam, A.D.J. (Additional Judge), talked about important legal aspects related to road accidents. He emphasized the importance of possession of documents of Registration, Insurance and Driving license with the driver. Dr. K.K. Chaturvedi educated the audience with the possibilities of First Aid in case of an accident. Vineet Tiwari, Platoon Commander, gave detailed information on Traffic rules and precautions on the road.
At this occasion, road victims, Dr. D.K. Sharma (Retired Professor), Rashmi Jain, and Nandini Aggarwal shared their experiences. At the conclusion of the program, BK Madhuri conducted guided meditation through a commentary and the audience paid homage of positive thought, peace and best wishes to the victims. The stage was beautifully co-ordinated by BK Kalpana.
