Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Hundreds of Brahma Kumaris and Kumars in Prabhu Anubhuti Upvan Centre at Rajat Vihar Danish Nagar on Hoshangabad Road in Bhopal assembled and paid homage to all the unfortunate souls who lost their lives through road mishaps and left their kith and kins in sorrow and grief for the entire life.
From 8 am to 10 am Raja Yoga meditation was done collectively in the open Park and sitting on either side of the street adjacent to the Centre for such victimized souls to rest in Peace and for the Mental Solace of their families around the World. It was observed to bring awareness in the public to pay more attention to avoid such traumatic incidences by seriously following the Traffic Rules.
Speaking on this occasion BK Dr. Rina, Brahma Kumaris Centre in Charge, Gulmohar Colony in Bhopal, said that Remembrance Day for such kind of victims has been observed for the first time in this unique way on the street. She said, “A child cries on taking birth for coming out of the safe womb of its Mother but she smiles with happiness to embrace her child with her safe arms to her heart.” She said, “A person comes on the Earth to enact a Role in this World Drama with a special purpose. So everyone’s life is very valuable. Everyone in the family is on his own journey. They have their own ambitions, dreams, efforts, joyful flights, relationships and various challenges to enhance their experiences in life. During such a journey if anybody meets with an accident and dies, it is a great unbearable shock for others.” She said, “Accidents are generally not intentional, it is a most unexpected occurrence. Our modern very fast lifestyle, full of competitions, desires to amass wealth, tension, automatic working machines and culture of drinking intoxicating liquors, etc., are some of the main causes of so many accidents that are happening in the world.” She said that because of these facts, orphaned children, grieving parents, physically handicapped people, and those who lost their life’s companions are today staring at us as if telling us to remember them and their fate to learn a lesson in life. She said with concern that now the time demands us to become more alert and careful to follow Road Safety Measures seriously.
On this occasion she asked the audience to strive to make the public aware of the safety rules, to be cool, calm and composed while driving vehicles in the traffic with a positive attitude. Along with her, by doing collective Raja Yoga meditation, vibrations of Peace were released in the atmosphere. Everyone with a burning candle in hand prayed for the victimized souls to rest in Peace and pledged to implement traffic rules to avoid road accidents.
