All India De-Addiction Campaigning Exhibition Bus Arrives in Umred
The All India De-Addiction Campaigning Exhibition Bus arrived in Umred and the Rally Team Members were welcomed by the Brahma Kumaris at their Paavan Dham Centre with due honor.
A Public program was organised at the old bus stand for which the Bus was taken with the Team Members from Paavan Dham to the venue of the public program in a procession, in which live a depiction of the deities Laxmi Narayan, Krishna and Bharat Mata became the center of attraction for the spectators.
Mrs. Vijay Laxmi Bhadouria, City Mayor, was the Chief Guest of the program along with the former Mayor Mrs. Sumantai Itankar as Special Guest. The function was inaugurated by lighting the lamps and with a prayer song, “Satyam Shivam Sundaram.” Devika performed a graceful welcoming dance.
The members of the Campaign, BK Prabha, BK Pratibha and BK Kalpesh with others, enacted a playlet “Vyasan Mukt” (“De-addicted”) to awaken people to the harmful effects of bad habits in their lives. Paavan Dham Centre in-Charge of Umred, BK Rekha, said, “It is high time to re-establish the values of the ancient Indian Traditional Culture and Heritage to make India as the World Teacher once again.”
BK Pratibha appealed to the youth everywhere to come out of their bad habits of intoxication, win over their anger, and resolve to rebuild Golden India through Raja Yoga meditation.
Mrs. Choudhari, Principal of Vidya Niketan, BK Ashok along with other BK Brothers and Sisters and many local dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
Before reaching Paavan Dham, the Exhibition Bus visited Chapa, Uti, Heti, Udasu and W.C.L. Vaigaon. Mrs. Anita Khandade, Sarpanch of Chapa; Sarpanch of Uti, Mr. Ramji Tangade; Sarpanch of Udasu, Mrs. Kavita Dharne; Mrs. Yogitai Mankar, Sarpanch of W.C.L. Vaigaon, and children from the Zilla Parishad Schools welcomed all the members of the Campaigning Team and benefitted from the good messages and the raised awareness.
