Art Competition at School of Deaf and Dumb by Brahma Kumaris, Latur

The Brahma Kumaris of Latur arranged an Art competition for the students of the Deaf and Dumb school (for those with little or no physical capacity to hear and speak). The topic was “Clean Bharat, Golden Bharat.” Students of various age groups participated in the contest with great enthusiasm. The Prize Distribution was carried out at the Local Centre of the Brahma Kumaris.
Sunita Kulkarni, Principal, Sushiladevi Deshmukh Residential School for Deaf and Dumb (Girls), Latur; Telure AppaSaheb, Principal, Late Indira Gandhi Residential School for Deaf and Dumb (Boys); Dr. Dongrage Sidhram, Head of the Physics Department, Basveshwar Latur College; Saili Samudre, Head of the Department of Social Studies, Shahu College Latur; Shivaji Hande, Art Teacher, Shivaji Yashwant School; BK Vijaya, Subzone Incharge Gulbarga; BK Nanda, Centre Incharge Latur Centre; and BK Punya were present as Chief Guests.
In this competition, students portrayed clean India through beautiful and colorful pictures. Sunita Kulkarni, at this occasion, said that the Brahma Kumaris have presented a new stage for the deaf and dumb students and have done a commendable job in giving a new direction and inspiration to the students. She felt that such opportunities bring new options and joy which enable them to come out of the monotony of life and hence bring an awareness that they are important parts of this world.
Dr. Sidhrama Dongrage said that it is quite appreciable on the part of the Brahma Kumaris to have made this effort for the special children to bring spirituality in sync with the physical world.
BK Vijaya said that it is not a curse to be deaf and dumb; rather it is a blessing of the Supreme Soul. In this world, people are hurting each other through words, people are listening to bad words and committing sins. Hence they are gifted to be naturally away from such sins. In the future, too, everyone must make an effort to be optimistic and hence derive true happiness from life.
The concepts of soul and Supreme Soul were shared with the students and students too shared their thoughts. At the end of the program, the winning students were awarded medals and certificates. The teachers and parents of the Deaf and Dumb school were present in the program.

प्रजापिता ब्रह्मकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्वविद्यालय, लातूर सेवाकेंद्र द्वारा, लातूर में कर्णबधीर  विद्यालय के छात्रों के लिए, चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया था ।  विषय था “स्वच्छ भारत, स्वर्णिम भारत” ।  विभिन्न आयु वर्ग के छात्रों ने प्रतियोगिता में उमंग उत्साह से  भाग लिया। पुरस्कार वितरण कार्यक्रम ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ सेवाकेंद्र पर हुवा ।

इस कार्यक्रम के लिए सुनीता  कुलकर्णी , मुखयधापिका , सुशीलादेवी  देशमुख आवासीय कर्णबधीर  स्कूल (लड़कियों के लिए ) लातूर, और तेलुरे अप्पासाहेब , मुख्याध्यापक -स्वर्गीय इंदिरा गांधी के निवासी कर्णबधीर (लड़कों का स्कूल), डॉ. डोंगरग़े  सिद्धराम , भौतिकशास्त्र  विभाग के प्रमुख, बसवेश्वर  लातूर कॉलेज, साइली समुद्रे समाजशात्र  विभाग प्रमुख , शाहू कॉलेज लातूर,  शिवाजी  हांडे-  शिवाजी यशवंत स्कूल, चित्रकला शिक्षक, और  ब्रह्माकुमारी  विजया,  प्रभारी ब्रह्माकुमारी गुलबर्गा उपक्षेत्र, ब्रह्माकुमारी नंदा  लातूर  सेवाकेंद्र  प्रभारी, और ब्रह्माकुमारी पुण्या मुख्य रूप से उपस्थित थे।

 इस प्रतियोगिता में, छात्रों ने  स्वच्छ भारत   की तस्वीर को  चित्रों के माध्यम से खूबसूरत रंगों से  खूबसूरती से चित्रित किया है।  इस कार्यक्रम के अवसर पर, श्रीमती सुनीता कुलकर्णी ने कहा कि, ब्रह्माकुमारी द्वारा कर्णबधीर छात्रों के लिए एक नया मंच उपलब्ध कर दिया है, छात्रों को एक नई दिशा और प्रेरणा देने का प्रशंशनीय कार्य किया है और साथ-साथ जीवन में नवीनता का आनंद प्राप्त होता है, यह है कि उन्हकी उसी पुराणी दुनिया से बाहर आने के लिए एक मौका हो जाता है  और मै समज़ती हूँ उन्हें यह जाग्रति हो गई है की वह भी  इस दुनिया  के एक महत्वपूर्ण घटक हैं।

अपने भाषण में इस अवसर पर  डॉ .सिद्धरामा   डोंगरग़े कहा कि , ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ द्वारा दिव्यांग  बच्चों के लिए  शुरू किया गया यह प्रतियोगिता  भौतिकता के साथ   अध्यात्मिकत को जोड़ना  ब्रह्मकुमारी कि एक सराहनीय बात है।

ब्रह्माकुमारी  विजयाने कहा कि कर्णबधीर यह एक अभिशाप नहीं बल्कि परमपिता परमात्मा द्वारा दिया गया वरदान है , आज की दुनिया में वाणी से  दूसरों को  दुःख-दर्द दिया जा रहा है, कानों से बुरा सुनकर बुरा काम किया जा रहा है ऐसे पाप कर्मों से दूर रखने का उपहार आप को प्राप्त हुवा है । और भविष्य में भी कभी भी सकारात्मक सोचकर ही कदम बढ़ाने है उससे ही जीवन का सच्चा सुख मिलेगा ।

बच्चों को आत्मा और परमात्मा के परिचय से अवगत कराया गया । इस कार्यक्रम में, छात्रों ने भी अपने विचार प्रस्तुत किए, प्रतियोगिता  में विभिन्न सुन्दर आये  विचारों को और खुशी की प्रस्तुति  की।

कार्यक्रम के अंत में विजेता छात्रों को पदक,प्रमाणपत्र से सम्मानित किया गया । कार्यक्रम केलिए कर्णबधीर विद्यालय के शिक्षक गण, पालक उपस्थित थे ।
