Annual Spiritual Celebration by Brahma Kumaris, Sunni, Himachal Pradesh

Mr. Virendra Kanwar, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister, was the Chief Guest on the occasion of the ‘Annual Spiritual Celebration’ of the Brahma Kumaris in Sunni organized at Om Shanti Bhavan in Sunni. BK Prakash, Senior Rajayogi from Mount Abu; Suresh Chandel, former Parliament Minister; Hiralal Minister; and BK Saroj along with the Chief Guest inaugurated the program by lamp lighting.
Mr. Virendra Kanwar, in his address, congratulated the Brahma Kumaris for organizing a Spiritual Celebration. He appreciated the organization for its various efforts towards Social reform: De-addiction among youth, awareness against superstitions, stress-free society, cleanliness in the society, empowering agriculture by connecting the farmers to spirituality through Yogic Agriculture and hence helping produce nutritious grains, which shall lay a foundation for a disease-free future generation. The Brahma Kumaris are working in 53 villages in the Sunni Area. He said that the Himachal Government stands by the Brahma Kumaris in the task of social reform. The Government shall cooperate by building the link roads for villages connected in the mission, arrange drinking water, build dams, Bharat Nirman Service Centres, Ideal Village Development program, etc.
Dr. Pramod Sharma, Organizer BJP Intellectual Cell; Veena Thakur; Rajesh Verma, Tehsildar; BK Shakuntala; BK Reva Das; BK Uttam; BK Ajay Negi and 800 BK Students from Jalandhar, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Shimla, Kinnaur and Sunni area participated in the program.
At the end of the program, the guests were felicitated with Godly gifts.
