Brahma Kumaris of Latur Awarded by Petroleum Conservation Research Association

For their continuous efforts on Conservation of energy and Environment protection activities, the Brahma Kumaris of Latur have been awarded with the Certificate of Commitment by PCRA (Petroleum Conservation Research Association). The Brahma Kumaris of Latur have pledged to educate people to avoid wasteful usage of petroleum products and encourage the use of cleaner fuels.
Learning to Live in Harmony with our natural world is the most pressing need of our time. As more of us are exposed to increasing streams of information there is also a need to access greater calm and compassion. In order to hear the call to live as global citizens, we need to take greater care for each other and our increasingly fragile Earth.
The aim of the Brahma Kumaris is to help people to experience greater well-being through inner peace and universal values. Hence the environmental initiative of the Brahma Kumaris is based on five main principles:
