Brahma Kumaris, Moscow, Welcome New Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation

His Excellency D. Bala Venkatesh Varma, the newly appointed Ambassador, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Russian Federation, was welcomed by BK Sudha, Director of the Brahma Kumaris in Moscow. Mr. Varma expressed his keen interest in knowing about the activities of the Brahma Kumaris in Russia.  He was pleasantly surprised to know that the activities of the Brahma Kumaris have expanded all the way from Mount Abu to the Siberian sub-continent and across Vladivostok in the East to Archangelsk and Murmansk in the North of Russia, and also in the neighboring countries.
BK Sudha defined the theory and practice of Raja Yoga to the Ambassador and how such practice helps people across the cultures in adopting a healthy and peaceful way of life. Congratulating for the valuable contribution made by the Brahma Kumaris in Russia, Mr. Varma sincerely extended his cooperation in organizing joint programs with the Indian Mission in Russia.
He also accepted the invitation to visit the Brahma Kumaris Centre to celebrate the upcoming Diwali festival with the BK divine family in Moscow.
