11 Campaigns for Farmers' Empowerment in Indore, Madhya Pradesh

The Agriculture and Rural Development Wing of RERF, Mount Abu, launched the Madhya Pradesh Farmers’ Empowerment campaign with a Grand Opening Ceremony at Om Shanti Bhavan, Indore premises situated at Limbodi, Khandwa Road.
The event was inaugurated with the candle lighting by the Chief guest H.N. Pandey, former Director, Agriculture Research Wing; BK Raju, Vice Chairperson of  the Rural Development Wing; BK Sarla, Chairperson of the Rural Development Wing; and BK Aarti.
BK Sarla in her address mentioned that due to over usage of pesticides, the fertility of the soil is continuously deteriorating, which is further becoming a reason behind serious ailments. Hence the farmers need to connect to the Shashwat Yogic Agriculture to empower themselves and the country. She quoted the words of the Father of the Nation, who said that the soul of the country dwells in the villages and it can be rekindled only through spirituality. Hence, all farmers must join this campaign and free themselves from addiction. Along with mental cleanliness, they must step forward for the cleanliness of the surrounding too, only then the farmers and the villages shall be empowered.
The Vice Chairperson of the wing, BK Raju, shared that Bharat has been an agricultural country, hence, our dear farmer brothers must not forget the link of spirituality. They must join this campaign and hence reconnect this important link and hence build a healthy Bharat by re-initiating the traditional agriculture of the land, Yogic Agriculture.
The guest of the event, H.N. Pandey, former director, Agriculture Research Wing, shared his important experiences related to Agriculture. He said the power of thoughts is required to carry out any big task, as the seed of thoughts germinates into reality one day. We need to water this seed with patience and continuous efforts.
The former Minister of the State, Prakash Vyas, talked about what is Agriculture and the values required in the agriculture of Bharat. He said we need to contemplate these topics again.
