Pure Fields, Happy Life: Farmer Empowerment Mission Motto
At Biaora, Rajgarh District, Madhya Pradesh, the closing ceremony of the Farmers Empowerment Mission was organized. A drama was staged on the topic ‘Empowered Farmer, Pride of the Nation’ to bring about awareness about the harms caused due to the use of chemicals on the crops and the benefits of the Organic and Yogic Agriculture.
The program begun with the Lamp Lighting ceremony conducted by Narayan Singh Panwar, Minister; Phool Singh Kushwah, Chairperson, Hindu Festivals Committee; Mahesh Aggarwal, Capitalist from the town; R. D. Silwayte, Senior Agriculture Development Officer; Dr. Ashok Aggarwal, Advocate; BK Harnam, Retired Naib Tehsildar from Himachal Pradesh; BK Madhu; BK Akhilesh from Dhamatri, Chattisgarh; BK Saras; and BK Rekha.
BK Lakshmi and BK Namrata welcomed all the guests with Tilak, garlands and badges.
BK Harnam, Retired Naib Tehsildar from Himachal Pradesh, representing the Hindu Festival Committee; BK Akhilesh, Dhamtari, Chattisgarh; BK Saras; BK Rekha; BK Madhu; BK Bhagyalakshmi; BK Neelima; BK Vaishali; BK Seema; and Campaign Participants: Indira, Aman, Durgesh, Lalit, Ravi, Monika, Anil Gupta, Govardhan Vyaas, Shyaam Dangi, and Kailash, etc. were felicitated with the Letter of Commendation and Garlands.
BK Akhilesh said that all of us wish to be happy. For that, we will have to purify the fields so that pure food is grown, as it is said: ‘As is the food, so is the mind’. BK Harnam, Retd Naib Tehsildar, Himachal Pradesh, shared about the activities of the organization and emphasized Organic Farming. BK Madhu presented a Vote of Thanks. Narayan Singh Panwar said ‘We are eating poisonous food today, as the food being consumed by us contains toxins absorbed from the chemical fertilizers and pesticides.’
Journalists also graced the occasion with their presence.
