Violence in Society on the Rise: Chemical Fertilizer Use is the Culprit

A seminar for farmers was organized by the Rural Development Wing of the Brahma Kumaris at the local farmer’s market. The Chief Guests on this occasion were Lok Sabha Minister, Hitendra Singh Solanki, BK Shakti from Khandwa, and BK Sumitra from Indore. The special guest was District Minister for Agriculture, Mahesh Gurjar.
While talking about Shashwat agriculture and Yogic agriculture, BK Reshma said that Bharat is chiefly an agriculture-based nation. The food produced by agriculture has a huge influence on the body and mind. As is the food, so is the mind.  The main reason behind the increase of violence in society is the consumption of food grown with the help of chemical fertilizers. Since the impure food makes the mind impure, we will have to purify the food. The main objective of the campaign is that if we produce food through pure mind and organic fertilizers, nutritious food shall be produced. BK Sheetal illustrated the method of growing pure food and demonstrated the practice of Rajyoga. Brahma Kumar brothers presented a ballet illustrating the method to build an addiction-free society. Jhilmil Hirve presented a short ballet. The students of Jyotirmaya — a school for individuals who do not hear or speak, or are hearing and speech challenged — situated at Dussehra Ground, presented a dance. In the end, sweets were distributed. Dr. Hare Singh Bathole, B.S. Sangre, Ramesh Chandra Bafna, Iqbal Singh Bhatia, and L.M. Thakur were also present during the event.
