Inauguration of "Brahma Kumaris Chowk" in Faridabad
BPTP Chowk (Square) in Faridabad Town has been declared as “Brahma Kumaris Chowk,” approved by the Town Municipal Corporation.
Traditional Bhoomi Pooja was performed and coconuts were broken as a Holy Ritual by BK Asha, Director of the Om Shanti Retreat Center, Gurugram; BK Shukla, Director; and BK Usha at old BPTP Chowk. Henceforth this Square will be known as Brahma Kumaris Chowk.
After the launch was formally over, BK Shukla said, “In the beginning when I came to Delhi for Divine Service, Faridabad Town was very small and there were only a few people coming to Yoga class. Now, after so many years, thousands are following the Teachings of the Brahma Kumaris Organisation and lending their services physically, mentally and monetarily with their heart and soul without any compulsion. Noticing their Noble Activities and reverence of people, Micheal Authorities decided to legally dedicate this Square in their honour, registered as “Brahma Kumaris Chowk.” She said that it is a work of great charity on the part of the Municipal Corporation.
BK Asha on this occasion said that the public here have good faith and devotion in God. This Brahma Kumaris Chowk is connecting old Faridabad and Greater Faridabad. She said that from now those who pass through this Chowk may have more faith and trust in God. She further suggested that not merely this Chowk but the Municipal Corporation must grant more such Chowks or main crossings to Brahma Kumaris to be able to instill spirituality in the society.
BK Sunder of NIT Brahma Kumaris Center and many others graced the occasion.
