Dhyan Yoga Retreat at NTPC Pragati Club, Korba
The Pragati Club of NTPC at Jamalipali, Korba (CG) organised a “Dhyan Yoga Retreat” for 15 days from 5:45 am to 7 am, under the guidance of BK Bindu Kumari, local Centre in charge, who was invited to conduct the Retreat.
The inauguration was done with high spirits by the Upper Chief Manager of NTPC, Mr. Ram Kumar Sahoo, along with other personals of NTPC: Mr. Sajal Roy, Deputy Chief Manager; Mr. Bhupendra Singh, Chief Secretary of their Pragathi Club; Mr. B.P. Agrawal, Senior Manager; Mr. Shyam Kumar Sharma, Assistant Manager; and many other honorable persons.
BK Bindu Kumari commenced with her sweet welcome address and said, “To keep our mind stable and free from any anxieties apart from all the norms and perseverance, spiritual knowledge and regular remembrance of God is very much necessary. The Soul which inherits the body is seated in the forehead in the middle of our eyebrows. It has lost its true identity due to have being caught in the cycle of birth and rebirth. It becomes body conscious. In fact it is the ruler of the physical body with all its organs. When a King is on his throne his servants obey his commands. Similarly by regular practice of Raja Yoga the Soul becomes cleared of the dirt of its past sins and it regains purity and all its divine powers. Now it can discriminate, decide and acquire everything that is good. It becomes like a holy Swan.”
BK Smruti Buddhiya conducted aerobics collectively with all those who attended the function and warmed them up with exercises.
At the end BK Rukmini lent the vote of thanks to everyone and invited them to learn Raja Yoga meditation which is taught free of cost and to take full advantage from this retreat.
