Women Upliftment Program by Brahma Kumaris, Bidar

A program on “The Role of Women in the Upliftment of Society” was organised by the Brahma Kumaris, Bidar, Karnataka. Mallamma R. Choube, Inspector of Women’s Police Station in Bidar; Mrs. Sunita S.Rasoor, Member of Zilla Parishad, Bidar; Mrs. Ratna Patil, Principal VIP’S Bidar; and a large number of women were present. Inspector Mallamma R. Choube said that even woman today are addicted to facebook and whatsapp, as a result of which moral values are found to be missing, so it is our responsibility to impart good values in our daughters so that they raise a good society.
BK Sumangala, Center Incharge of Brahma Kumaris, Bidar, said without women in the world, the world may not exist. Women play an important role in society, as a mother, a sister, a wife and a daughter, to fulfill all the incomplete aspects of the life of an individual. She also said that our country has derived its name “Bharat Mata,” because of the sacrifice and penance of India’s mothers only. A man without women in his life is likely a robot without feelings, her role in the development of the emotional psychological aspect of a child has also been very significant. She is not only the creator and maintainer of her child but an educator and disciplinarian as well. A woman sustains an individual emotionally, and takes care of the  person’s growth in a proper way. A mother is the first Guru.
