Brahma Kumaris Organize Fair for "Empowerment of Farmers"

Nearly 1,000 people — including Officers, Sarpanch, Ex-MLAs, Scientists, Professors, and Farming experts — were present at the “Empowerment of Farmers” fair set up by the Brahma Kumaris in Malegaon (Navghare Panghari), Maharashtra. BK Snehalata, local centre in charge, welcomed all the villagers and guests with her sweet best wishes. The fair was inaugurated by Mr. Amit Jhanak.
BK Mahendra Thakur, from the Rural Development Wing, asked all the farmers to adopt new way of Consistent Yogic Cultivation, in which Spiritually Empowered Soul itself saves the Mother Earth from the hazards of chemical fertilizers used in farming. BK Premlata performed Rajyoga through her commentary of thoughts in which all collectively participated. Mr. Dattatreya Gavse, the Agricultural Director, of Akola, encouraged the farmers, and said that this consistent system of farming is very ancient and that all of us must accept and implement it.
BK Rukmini extended her blessings for the welfare of the farmers and said that we must empower the Self first with the memory of God and then make society stronger. She said the medium for that is food which we offer to God and then eat as Prasad, full of divine power. This food comes from farming. So we must grow pure crops to be offered to God.
