World No Tobacco Day 2018 Rally in Haryana
B K Urmila, Senior Rajayoga Teacher from Mount Abu addressed the gathering of nearly 1000 students and said that the habit of smoking cigarettes, taking liquor and narcotic drugs, is influencing youth of today very much. It is weakening the social foundation and has become a matter of serious concern. After that the rally was shown green flag by her along with BK Vasudha, centre in charge of Jhojhu Kalan, Mr. Raj Singh, Principal, Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Mr. Dalbir Gandhi, Village Sarpanch, Mr. Tekchand Arya, Master, Veda Prachar Samiti, Mr. Pradip Dagar, President, and Mrs. Sunita Kasni, Haryana Patanjali Prachar Samiti.
On this occassion BK Urmila said that by the intoxication slowly the mind gets poisoned. It becomes cruel and prone for destruction. All these products are sweet poisons that totally weaken our inner divine faculties and our moral strength. These drugs enter in our body as friend but kill us as an enemy. There is no religion or any society that has approved this kind of harmful addictions. Actually we are not smoking or drinking them but we are being consumed. She stated and motivated everyone that by spiritual knowledge and regular practice of Rajayoga, one can be liberated from such habits and in turn all his physical and mental energies may be made useful towards upliftment of the society.
Mr. Rajsingh said, among the students the increasing attraction for such habits is a matter of serious concern. They must inculcate human values to get rid of these addictions.
BK Vasudha stated, that regular practice of Rajyog meditation is an only effective weapon to achieve de-addiction. Rajayog makes the mind peaceful and thoughts positive. She said man gets into these habits out of sorrow for a short lived happiness. Dr. Devendra Bohra elaborated about the damages caused by these habits.
Mahant Charandas said only by the power of spirituality we can make self, society and the nation free from such destructive intoxications and the best way for that is to be in association with morality.
Mr. Rajendra Kumar, Rural Mandal President, suggested that the youth can make the village free from these bad habits only by their own positive thinking because they are full of both physical and mental energies.
Mr. Dalbeer Gandhi, the Village Sarpanch expressed his gratitude to all specially to Brahma Kumaris because of their efforts to deliver spiritual wisdom which has totally changed the atmosphere in the area. He assured that with their joint efforts they will make the entire village free from addictions.
Mr. Tekchand also put forth his thoughts. Mr. Pradip Dagar and Sunita Kasni both extended their full cooperation for making the rally successful.
Mr. Bishan Singh Arya raised the spirits of the crowd by shouting the anti drugs and liquors slogans. Motivated the people in the village throughout the rally, to come out of these bad habits and make their lives brighter and happier.
The participants in the International Deaddiction Day rally were the students of Arya Senior Secondary School, Vivekananda Memorial School, NRJ Senior Secondary School,Government Higher Middle School,Gaurav Defence Academy, Aryan Coaching Centre, Ex Sarpanch, Rajesh Sangwan, Teacher Ravindra, Rambir, Karmbir Jozhu, Mitra Sen, Rimpi Fogut, Mr. Sanju, Chairman, Social Service Committee, Naya Savera Samiti, Satendra Jevali offered vote of thanks to all the participants of this great and purposeful rally.
