“Women's present day challenges and choices” event held at Mysore by the Brahma Kumaris

Followed by a “Peace March” by 300 women, surrounding main roads of Yadavagiri center the program was inaugurated by M.S. Bharati, B.K. Laxmi Behan, Dr. k. Anantaraamu, Dr. Vimalashri, B.K. Ranganath. The chief guests invited were Dr.K. Anantaraamu (Senior Kannada writer and thinker, Mysuru) who stated the need to unveil a solution to the problem facing a woman. “Let’s ask for a woman’s well-being and give it to women. Thanks to Brahma Kamari, who organized this program.” he said.
M.S. Bharati (Famous Secretory, Aakashavani Mysuru), Dr. Vimalashri (Head of Kannada department, Sharada Vilas College, Mysuru) and B.K. Laxmi behanji (In charge of Mysore subzone) was present to lead the function. Nearly 500 people took part in this occasion whole heartedly. Different competitions like – Fancy dress, Singing, Games were conducted and the winners were awarded.
BK Laxmi Behan presented Godly gift & honored Game winners & Guests. On this occasion presidents of 20 various Women’s association (Mahila sangha) were honored.
