"Health is Wealth" an Awareness Program by Brahma Kumaris

Hathras, Uttar Pradesh: SIFPSA (State Innovation Family Planning Service Project Agency), a joint venture of the Government of India, has organised a one-day workshop on “Health is Wealth,” an Awareness Program, at Akroor Inter College in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh.
The Brahma Kumaris were invited to enlighten the teenagers to protect their health from the harmful habits of smoking, drinking and drug addictions.
“Teenage after childhood is the age of dreaming to achieve the Aim Object of their future life. As higher the dreams are, so will be their sincere efforts.” These were the versions of Mr. Sunil Kumar, District Inspector of Schools, as a Chief Guest of the program.
On behalf of the Brahma Kumaris Centre of Anandpuri Colony, on Aligarh Road, Hathras, BK Dinesh alerted the young students not to spoil their Health with bad habits at this age. He said that childhood is the foundation of their future life. If they follow the right direction their life ahead will be brighter but otherwise if they fall prey to bad habits and spoil their Health, they will ruin their own future, within no time. To make them understand properly he displayed the harmful effects of these habits on screen through a projector.
Dr. Brijesh Rathore, District Chief Medical Officer, also advised the children to take proper care of their Health in the Teenage period itself under any circumstances. He said that they can go freely to a Youth Counselling Centre for guidance without any hesitation.
On this occasion Mr. Chatur Singh District Education Officer, the Principal of Akroor Inter College; Mr. Mukesh Kumar, the Teachers and all the Officers of SIFPSA were also present as Guests on the dais.
At the close of the program, students were presented a Certificate of Participation by BK Dinesh and Dr. Brijesh Rathore. All the participants were encouraged to take an oath to take care and preserve their Health, because Health is their only true Wealth in life.

| बचपन के बाद युवा अवस्था सपना देखने की उम्र है। जितना ऊँचा सपना देखेंगे उतना ही अधिक उन्नति कर सकेंगे। यह विचार जिला विद्यालय निरीक्षक सुनील कुमार ने किशोर बच्चों के लिए अक्रूर इण्टर कॉलेज में आयोजित “तन्दरूस्ती हजार नियामत” कार्यक्रम में विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में व्यक्त किये।
प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय के अलीगढ़ रोड स्थित आनन्दपुरी केन्द्र की ओर से बी0के0 दिनेश भाई ने नशीले पदार्थों से सावधान रहने की प्रेरणा प्रदान करते हुए कहा कि किशोर अवस्था बच्चों के भविष्य जीवन की नीव होती है। इसमें यदि सही दिशा मिल जाये तो भविष्य उज्जवल हो जाता है अन्यथा गलत दिशा में बढ़े हुए कदम से जीवन बर्बाद होने में देर नहीं लगती। उन्होंने वीडियो फिल्म के माध्यम से तम्बाकू आदि व्यसनों से होने वाले नुकसानों को दर्शाया। बी0के0 दिनेश भाई एवं जिला मुख्य चिकित्साधिकारी डॉ0 ब्रजेश राठौर ने बच्चों को प्रमाणपत्र भी प्रदान किये।
जिला मुख्य चिकित्साधिकारी डॉ0 ब्रजेश राठौर ने हर हाल में तन्दरूस्ती बनाये रखने का आव्हान किया। उन्होंने किशोर परामर्श केन्द्र पर जाकर किशोर अवस्था में होने वाले परिवर्तनों सम्बन्धी सवालों को निःसंकोच पूछने की सलाह भी दी। इस अवसर पर जिला स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा अधिकारी चतुर सिंह, अक्रूर इण्टर कॉलेज के प्रधानाचार्य मुकेश कुमार सहित समस्त शिक्षकगणों सहित सिफ्सा संस्था के कार्यक्रम अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
