VIHASA, which stands for Values In Healthcare And Spiritual Approach, is an excellent program being conducted all over the world in 60 countries by the Brahma Kumaris and the Medical Wing of the Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation (RERF).
In India it was inaugurated by the Late President of India Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam in 2006. Since then it has been consistently managed in India and abroad.
The VIHASA program was held at the Saifee Super Speciality Hospital in Mumbai, located at the Marine Line Choupati, called the Necklace, standing like a Royal Palace, a very famous landmark in the city. The Brahma Kumaris conducted the seminar for Administrators, Doctors and the Heads of Departments. The strength of their personnel itself is 300, a very big Hospital.
Dr. Sachin Parab, Brahma Kumaris National Co-ordinator of VIHASA, said, “VIHASA is a facilitated and experiential full-day seminar, from 9 am to 5 pm. In the first half, the introduction of the Organization and VIHASA’s aim is shared. Then participants learn how to maintain peace in their workplaces and in their homes. In a post-lunch session, participants sit in Deep Silence and experience peace practically. After that experience during this seminar, they all felt very happy and gave very encouraging feedback. They then asked us to arrange for their entire staff many such training sessions on Personal Management and Team Management in the future.”
Dr. Sachin Parab and BK Deepa from Vile Parle impressively held the session; the program was organized by the Brahma Kumaris of Gamdevi.
