Toronto (Canada): BK Mohini, Director of the Brahma Kumaris in the Americas, inaugurated the newly renovated Centre of the Brahma Kumaris in Toronto in the presence of dignitaries from Canada and the USA.
The inaugural event on the topic “Celebrating New Beginnings: A Life of Blessings” was very well attended with both halls filled to capacity and an overflow in the foyer. Dignitaries gracing this occasion included Mr. Dinesh Bhatia, Consul General of India; Mr. Anthony Perruzza, Councillor; Mr. Minhas, former Trustee of the School Board; Mr. Satish Thakkar, Chairperson for International Yoga Day; Kuldip Gollee, representative of Mayor-Elect for Brampton; Patrick Brown, representative of Sonia Sidhu, Member of Parliament for Brampton South; and Naval Bajaj, Community Leader.
Messages were also received from Honorable Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario, and Patrick Brown, Mayor-Elect for Brampton, for this occasion.
There was a ribbon cutting, candle lighting and cake cutting followed by very supporting speeches from the guests. The Contractor and the trades people also attended and they were acknowledged for their contribution over and above the norm. BK Mohini was an image of blessings upon blessings and she filled each one’s heart and desires with her loving and divine presence.
The Rajayoga Meditation Centre in Toronto was established in the year 2010.  After seven years, this extensive renovation took almost a year. The BK Family, empowered by the guidance and blessings of BK Mohini, came together with so much love, commitment and dedication to make wonders happen.
