Brahma Kumaris Address Action For India (AFI) Annual Forum

Alibaug (Mumbai): At the 7th AFI (Action For India) Annual Forum there was a very resolute and powerful cohort of 100 high-potential social entrepreneurs of India, 100 Influencers from far and wide, from across sectors and domains of knowledge and a stellar line-up of gripping speeches and panel discussions. This year, the Forum was powered by Let’s Endorse, which is a collaborative ecosystem of thousands of social enterprises, NGOs, corporations and socially conscious individuals. With each passing year, the faith in the social entrepreneurship landscape of India only grows. This year, the invitees to the Forum made it an exuberant confluence of ideas and collaborations. Living up to the theme of this year’s Forum, “Sustainable Development Goals and Impact Investing,” various stakeholders were brought to the fore to present their views and ideas on the theme.
There was a profound talk by BK Jayanti, Director of the Brahma Kumaris in Europe and the Middle East, who connected the dots between the critical of contemporary times to the spirit and consciousness of beings. Very succinctly, she crystallized the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into 5 goals for humanity: People, Planet, Peace, Prosperity and Partnerships.
