Agriculture Minister Inaugurates Farmers Empowerment Campaign

Bokaro (Jharkhand): The Brahma Kumaris along with the Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation launched a campaign in Jharkhand aiming to promote prosperity through organic farming.
The campaign — inaugurated at Bokaro by Agriculture Minister Randhir Singh with a candlelighting — will continue across the State, informed Brahma Kumari Tripti.  Organic farming excludes the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and food growth hormones, she said, adding, “We are on the move to empower the farmers by motivating them to opt for organic farming which will help them in being prosperous.”
Under this campaign, volunteers are moving from place to place and explaining to the public how crops also grow energetically without using chemical fertilizers and medicines. Just as human beings perform well with the right encouragement, agricultural crops too respond positively to treatment with natural nutrients, she said.
The campaign will cover Jamtara, Dumka, Godda, Mahgama, Deoghar, Nirsa, Purulia, Silli, Hazaribagh, Keridari and will conclude at Phusro on December 3, informed BK Raju, Vice-Chairperson of the Agricultural and Rural Development Wing. “The dream of new India only can be realized by empowering the farmers,” Raju added.
Our campaign aims to raise awareness among farmers, consumers, and policymakers to end the use of chemicals and to adopt higher standards for the availability of safe organic food. Most pesticides and synthetic fertilizers used in the country are regarded as extremely hazardous and their accumulation could lead to diseases such as cancer, skin and eye irritation, lung damage, infertility and diarrhea, he said.
“We are sure that our campaign will be able to generate a new wave in the field of organic farming and uplift the socio-economic conditions of farmers,” added Raju.

माउंट आबू से आए ब्रह्मा कुमार राजू भाई जी ने युवा संकल्प के माध्यम से शाश्वत योगिक खेती का पैगाम दिया नेशनल कोऑर्डिनेटर कृषि एवं ग्राम विकास प्रभाग ब्रम्हाकुमारी तृप्ति बहन ने वैष्णव का दान मांगा और कहा कि हमें किसानों को सशक्त करने का संकल्प लेना होगा !

योग के प्रयोग द्वारा खेती को तथा किसान भाइयों को सशक्त बनाने के लिए ब्रह्माकुमार राजेंद्र भाई जी ने अनेको अनेक विधियां बताएं और सभा में उपस्थित सभी लोगों का मन मोह लिया! सभी गणमान्य नागरिक और सैकड़ों किसान भाइयों.बहनों ने ब्रह्माकुमारीज कि इस सराहनीय प्रयास को भरपूर प्रशंसा की !
