"Swachhata Hi Seva" Campaign by Brahma Kumaris of Tonk

As an observance of the “Swachhata Hi Seva” Campaign, members of the Brahma Kumaris Centre in the city of Tonk held a Cleaning program.  This “Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan” was launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modiji on September 15th, 2018 to be continued until Gandhi Jayanti on October 2nd, 2018.
Inspired by the Brand Ambassador of this Project, Rajyogini BK Janki Dadiji, Chief Administrator of the Brahma Kumaris International Head Quarters on Mount Abu, the members of the local Brahma Kumaris Center and members of the Nehru Youth Club collectively participated in this service. They swept with broom sticks all the streets around the city bus stand of Tonk, Rajasthan. They collected all the waste materials and dirt on roads in the dust bins which was taken away in a Government vehicle for disposal.
Simultaneously, they enlightened people about the values and the advantages of cleanliness and made them aware of this National Campaign of “Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan.” They were politely asked to maintain a clean and healthy environment for the good of all mankind.
Mr. Ganesh Mahur, District President of BJP; Mr. Omprakash Gupta, District Spokesperson of BJP; and local Brahma Kumaris Center in charge BK Rani were specially present to participate during this activity. Along with them, BK Bina, BK Ritu, Writer from the Nehru Youth Club Mr. Tulsiram Meena, BK Prakash, BK Amrut, BK Prabhu Narayan, others related to Brahma Kumaris Organisation, and many other youthful public lent their physical co-operation volunteerily.  On the whole the campaign was very successful.
