Farmers Empowerment Campaign by Brahma Kumaris in Madhya Pradesh

BK Akhilesh, BK Madhu and BK Harnam educated farmers in the villages of Chausa, Chatlakhheda, Jalalia, Kherasi, Barkheda, etc., the first group of “Kisan(Farmer) Empowerment” campaign being run by the Brahma Kumaris, spreading awareness about organic farming, sustainable organic farming, and about cultivation by the supreme powers.
The second group of the farmers’ empowerment campaign went out to make farmers aware in villages such as Motipura, Kharachheddi, Hathikekheda, Kardi, Rajpura, and rural farmers were blessed with BK Saras and BK Rekha sharing about yogic organic farming.
A Waste Decomposer was distributed to the farmers along with the campaign rally. Along with this, slogans were made and farmers were asked to take a pledge by repeating the slogans. A Drama skit suggested that farmers not use chemical fertilizers and pesticides and appealed for organic farming. On this occasion, Sarpanch and Patel, the Head Master of the village were specially present.
