Press Conference on the Auspicious Occasion of Remembrance Day of Dadi Prakashmani
“With the Power of the Pen, Help Mount Abu Attain the Position of a Spiritual City.”
Around 150 reporters from Abu Road and surrounding cities attended the press meeting held at Manmohinivan campus and offered tribute to Dadi Prakashmani, Former Chief Administrator of the Brahma Kumaris, and Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee by keeping two minutes of silence on the occasion of the Remembrance Day of Dadi Prakashmani on August 25th.
Dadi Ratan Mohini, Joint Chief Administrator of the Brahma Kumaris, said that we are all Godly children and know yourself to know God. When we love someone we don’t need to remember them — it’s automatic remembrance — likewise, we all have that connection with God so that His remembrance becomes natural. The organisation is established by God Himself. So there is no difference of any kind here and He is getting the work done by us humans. Establishing relationship with God is Meditation.
BK Munni, General Manager of the Brahma Kumaris, sharing her experience, quoted that Dadi always used to say, “The way we behave, others will follow us.” So always keep your life clean, pure and true. Stay happy and give happiness, keep good thoughts and intentions for everyone. With the above she also motivated reporters towards spreading more positive news.
BK Karuna, Chief spokesman of Brahma Kumaris and Chairperson of the Media Wing, said that reporters need to make a collective effort for starting an airport in Abu Road as the pen has that power that can bring change.
BK Mruthyunjaya, Executive Secretary of the Brahma Kumaris, emphasized developing Mount Abu as a Spiritual City, as the knowledge of the Brahma Kumaris has spread to more than 142 countries in the world. Spirituality is widely spreading nowadays and through Raja Yoga Meditation many can change their lives.
Mr. Suresh Thingar, Chairman, Municipal Corporation, Mount Abu, was overwhelmed by the efforts of the Brahma Kumaris organisation in developing Nakki Lake and Parks of the city and extended his appreciation for the continuous help and support.
BK Shantanu, Head Quarters Co-ordinator of the Media Wing; BK Komal, PRO; and BK Avtar, Operational Senior Reporter, all extended their thanks to the reporters present and emphasized the power of media for bringing change in all fields of life.
The program was then successfully ended by distributing sweets and gifts.
