"Mobility Management of Mind" Program for IT Professionals at Navi Mumbai
At Aatmachintan Bhavan (Vashi, Navi Mumbai), a program was organized for IT professionals of Navi Mumbai by the IT Wing of the Brahma Kumaris on the topic “Mobility Management of Mind.”
On this auspicious occasion, more than 170 IT professionals from various IT companies, such as Reliance Industries, JIO, Oracle, Siemens, Global Cloud Exchange, TCS, Capegemini, HCL, Vodafone, SBI, JP Morgan, Tata Communication, and IDBI, participated and took benefit from it.
Chief guests of the event were Mr. Venkatesh, Head of Risk and Internal Control at Siemens; Mr. Anuj Batra, Senior Manager, Global Cloud Exchange; Ms. Suchit Batra, Director, Auric Search; Rajyogi BK Karuna, P.R.O. and Chief of Multi Media, Brahma Kumaris; Rajyogini BK Sheela, Centre incharge,Vashi Navi Mumbai; and BK Sister Shreya from Borivali.
The event was started with remembrance of GOD, followed by a welcome speech by BK Sheela, Candle Lighting, and a Welcome Dance.
BK Sheela said that, “Mind is like a horse but, God teaches us, you have to ride a horse by taking control of it using the intellect.”
Respected BK Karuna shared his valuable words, “In this world, everyone knows about Buddhi(Intellect), Sanskar (Habit), but no one knows about Mind. Because of which we have to come to this place to understand the mind and its functionality. Since no college, school, or company taught about mind.”
Keynote speaker for this event was BK Sister Shreya from Borivali, Mumbai, and she talked about Stress, Tension, and Depression and the reasons behind them. She convinced everyone that, irrespective of the situation and pressure, we can take responsibility of our mind, and this has to be our mantra. I am the creator of my thoughts, I have choice in any situation. She also talked about the various aspects of relationships and how to deal with a situation which is not in our favor; still, we can take charge of our self by becoming patient and loveful. At the end she conducted Meditation for all the IT professionals.
Chief Guest Mr. Venkatesh shared his valuable thoughts: he insisted that everyone take control of their life; this is the time to practice spirituality in life, and Brahma Kumaris is the right place to begin. He said, without God’s intervention this task cannot be completed. He also asked everyone to visit the Brahma Kumaris Campus and attend the IT Conference.
Chief Guest Ms. Suchit Batra shared that, “We the Human Being or human brain has created these technologies, but technology has hijacked us. She also shared, I am very thankful to the Brahma Kumaris and its volunteers for inviting me.”
Chief Guest Mr. Anuj Patra said that, “We have to take care of two things: Our Nature and Mother Nature. We are consuming from Nature but it’s time to nurture nature through our inner nature. And we should not wait for 60 years to start spirituality or postpone it.”
A Godly gift and Toli (sweets) were given to all the chief guests, and Toli (sweet) was distributed to all the participants.
