Golden Jubilee Celebrations by Brahma Kumaris, Indore

BK Shivani, International Motivational Speaker, was the Chief Orator on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of the Brahma Kumaris, Indore Zone, held at Abhay Prashal venue. Along with her, famous former cinema actor BK Suresh Oberoi and BK Hemalata, Chief Zonal Co-ordinator of Indore Zone, honoured the dias.
BK Suresh Oberoi, while narrating about the vast change in his life said, “By the regular practice of Raja Yoga meditation and guidance of Sister Shivani, today all of my bad habits have totally vanished. My past life seems to me as a bad dream. Now, with this immense transformation in my character, I started loving myself.”
BK Shivani said, “Today’s problems in our society can’t be solved by a single person or by any regulation.” Praising the cleanliness of Indore city she said, “As by the cooperation of all, you got this city so clean that it achieved a first place in the country, similarly, it is essential that we all must change our minds and our resolves (Samskar), then all our social problems can be answered.”
She was addressing a gathering of about 9,000 people and said, “We can bring Satyug or Golden Age on this Earth, which everyone desires, only by cleansing our Mind and our Resolves (Samskar). Everyone is toiling for the same in their own ways.” She further said, “We have been searching for Peace, Bliss and Happiness in Objects, Wealth and Resources. We have been racing in the pursuit of success, having jealousy with each other, but we failed to find peace and happiness.” She said, “We are the creator of Satyug or Heaven. We can do it, not only by accepting ourselves as the Souls of the Golden Age, but only when we imbibe those divine qualities and powers in us. As you could receive the first place for Indore among the clean cities in India, with your co-operative efforts, so also with all probabilities we may successfully commence to make Indore the first city of Satyug or the Golden Age.”
During the function, messages carrying blessings and their best wishes for all-round success of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations from Dr. Banarasi Shah of Mount Abu, HQ; BK Kamala, Director of BK Centres, Indore Zone; BK Usha; Ujjain; and BK Karuna, Administrator of Shakti Niketan at Indore, were expressed before the audience.
BK Hemalata then welcomed all the Guests and the audience, followed by a beautiful dance performance by the student artists of Shakti Niketan Girls’ Hostel, in which they revealed the history of BK Centre at Indore, now the Zonal Headquarters, and its gradual progress during these 50 years.
The entire program was celebrated with much enthusiasm and was enjoyed by one and all.
