“Every Man is responsible to save the Atmosphere and Environment”. To implement this, a one-day training program was conducted by the Rural Development Wing of the Brahma Kumaris at the Brahma Kumaris Centre, Gyana Shikhar, Om Shanti Bhawan, Indore.
For this “Train the trainers” program, a large number of Brahma Kumaris arrived from various places, including Jabalpur, Sivni, Balaghat, Malva, Narsinghpur, Niman etc., in addition to those from Indore.
The dignitaries on the dias who started the training program by lighting the lamps were BK Sumanth, Head Quarters Co-ordinator of the Rural Wing from Mount Abu; BK Hemalata, Chief Zonal Co-ordinator of Indore Zone; Mr. Badri Vishal Tiwari, Assistant Director, Directorate of Agriculture, Lucknow; Mr. Gopesh Rathore, Assistant Director, Department of Agriculture; Dr. Swarnakar, Retired Dean, Agricultural University; Mr. Virendra Singh, Planning Officer, Mahu; and BK Anita, who moved the proceedings forward.
BK Sumanth from Mount Abu said in his opening speech, “Everyone in the world wants to do something to become great, to be happy and peaceful in life, but it is seen that negativity, misunderstandings, enemity, hatredness, protests and struggles are increasing day by day, and as a result of that peace is nowhere in sight. Man wishes to be healthy but new illnesses are cropping up. The reason for all this is mainly the food, water, vegetables, fruits and whatever we eat, are not pure. The ancient saying, as is our food so is our mind or thoughts, indicates that there is a deep connection between mental health and physical sickness. Our negative thoughts greatly influence the level of pollution in the environment. The Natural elements absorb the human thoughts very fast. So it is necessary to purify our thoughts to purify Nature.”
Mr. Badri Vishal Tiwari from Lucknow stated, “Our farmers, out of greed in order to get more yields, are using very dangerous chemical pesticides on their fields. They are reaping more crops no doubt, but the nutrients and the life-giving energies are lacking remarkably. That is resulting in serious ailments like cancer.” He said that as a solution for this situation, the Brahma Kumaris Rural Development Wing has come up with a new method of cultívation, a new step for the New Era, “Consistent Yogic Cultivation,” in which only Organic Natural Manures are used and simultaneously pure Spiritual Thought Vibrations are sent through Meditation encompassing the crops. This has been found to improve the quality in the farm products.
BK Hemalata said, “Initially at the dawn of Satyayuga (Golden Age) people were all pure and full of divine qualities, so nature was also pure. Mother Earth was full of healthy food and wealth, life was happier; whereas the situation is just the contrary. So we must now make our souls pure and holy to re-establish such a Golden World.”
On this occasion Mr. Gopesh Pathak said, “Mental pollution today is growing more. So let us take a resolve not to exploit Mother Earth any more; rather we shall respect her.” He said that the Safety of the Environment is everybody’s responsibility, not just the responsibility of the government.
Mr. Swarnakar and Mr. Virendra Singh also expressed their similar feelings. Guests were honoured with turbans and shawls. The function was enjoyed by all the Guests and the audience as it was so worthy.
