"Tobacco Prohibition Day" celebrations by Brahma Kumaris, Rajgarh
Brahma Kumaris of Rajgarh celebrated Tobacco Prohibition Day at village Kharcha Khedi. On this occasion BK Madhu explained about the bad effects of the addiction of tobacco. She said our body is like a temple and our soul is a deity seated within. As no one takes any impure things as an offering to God, similarly we must also not consume any such unholy things. She said, the human life is very rare to get and that is to perform noble deeds but we are merely wasting it by the addictions of unholy things like cigarette, alcohol, drugs etc. Today man has become a slave to such habits that he is unable to get out of it’s clutches. Rajyog is very helpful and easy to liberate man from these habits.
Sis. Sadhana Srivastav rendered few songs and poems and inspired people to better get intoxicated in the love of God, called Narayani nasha. She said this is the real addiction which one must get into.
Later Indira, Kapil Gupta, Aman, Tanveer, Balchand Sen and Krishna enacted a playlet in which they showed, how these bad habits ruin our health and our lives.
Lastly BK Surëkha made the villagers to take oath that hereafter they will not use these items in their life. They were so inspired that they discarded those materials in fire. The villagers who came forward to throw in fire, were Shiv Singh, Prem Singh, lnder Singh and Suraj Singh. Some older ladies also offered these things in fire. Thus all the village folks came out and they promised to make their entire village free from addictions.
A beautiful exhibition was also arranged to highlight the noble purpose.
