International Yoga Day at Satpur, Abu Road

Brahma Kumaris from Shantivan, Abu Road organised a program at Government Higher Middle School in Satpur, Abu Road, to celebrate the 4th International Yoga Day, with zeal and enthusiasm. The launching of program was done with lighting the candle and chanting Veda Mantras as per Indian culture.
On this occassion Mr. Suresh Barot, Deputy Sarpanch of Satpur Assembly, said that through Yoga, body becomes physically healthy. Therefore it must be practiced by every individual and school going children as well regularly.
Mr. Motilal Goyel, Principal of the school said, “Yoga is related to our body and mind. Daily one hour’s Yoga practice is surely very beneficial for the body and mind. If we can spare daily one hour for this it will keep us energetic and active for the whole day that enables us to perform our duties perfectly with a healthy mind”. He said, “Let us come forward to practice Yoga for all 365 days”. He also made everyone aware of the Government scheme to lend free education to the children.
Mr. BK Dileep, Yoga Trainer from the Brahma Kumaris HQ, at Mt. Abu, then began collective Yoga systematically. He started by chanting a prayer and trained everyone by demonstrating physically. He made all to perform practically. He said, “Sarve bhavantu sukhinaha, Sarve santu niramayaha…….” to establish the effect of this prayer in the society, every body must learn and practice RajaYoga regularly. It renders our physical body healthy and strong. Similarly Yoga performed to connect Self or Atma with the Supreme Father or Supreme Soul, the Param Atma through mind and intellect is valled Dhyan Yoga, Yoga through the Rememberance.
Only through this Raja Yoga benediction of subjects, society, nation and the world at large can be expected.
As per the protocol of the program all the participants stood up with their right hand spread forward to take an oath that they would be compassionate, and love full with all others, will do their duties sincerely with devotion and dedication and will remain tranquil under all the situations in life.
On this occassion Dr. Mahaveer Prasad, Vandana Awasthi, PTI, school teachers, workmen and residents of Satpur took full benefit by their participation in this program.
