Save Girls, Empower Girls campaign at Hathras

A programme on ‘Save Girls, Empower Girls’ campaign was organised by Brahma Kumaris, at Anandpuri colony, Hathras, UP. A shobhayatra (procession) was also taken out though various parts of the town in which hundreds of members of organization participated and gave the message of spiritual empowerment of girls. President of  Nagar Panchayat(City Council), Ms. Vedvati Mahaur was the chief guest in the progamme. She appreciated the efforts of Brahma Kumaris organization in the field of women empowerment.  Rajyoga teacher BK Shanta Bhen, BK Uma Bhen, BK Girish Bhai also spoke on the occasion. “Along with Education, Spiritual awakening can only bring  women empowerment. Today, government and the society had started paying attention towards women education.The result of this is clearly seen in women going ahead in every sphere of life. At the same time there is a rise in the crime rate against women in the society. ” said Rajayogi BK Shanta, Chief spokesperson of the event. She added saying that “Spiritual science must also be taught along with the physical science in education .With the physical development the awakening of the virtues of soul and its empowerment must also be taken care of.” BK Komal Bhen and Dr. Shivom recited  poems on the theme of event.
