Brahma Kumaris at International Yoga Fest by Union Ministry of AYUSH and MDNIY at New Delhi

The Brahma Kumaris were invited to participate in the International Yoga Fest by Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) and Union Ministry of AYUSH from 19-23 March 2018, at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi – Curtain Raiser Event of International Day of Yoga 2018. The Wokshops conducted by Brahma Kumaris on 19-20 was attended by 250 Yoga Lovers.
The Event was inaugurated by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Union MoS Prime Minister’s Office along with Mr. Shripad Yasso Naik, Honorable Union MoS for AYUSH, Yoga Guru Dr. H.R.Nagendra, Mrs. Meenakshi Leki, MP, Mr. V.R.Kotecha, Secretary, AYUSH, BK Asha, Director, Brahma Kumaris, Khanpur, New Delhi and others. Brahma Kumaris stall in exhibition area attracted more than 2000 souls who experienced silence in Meditation Room.
BK Manoj got second place in the Yoga Elocution Competition and Mrs. Sumitra Mahajan, Honorable Speaker Lok Sabha gave him Award and Certificate at the Valedictory Function.
The Fest also included Talk on ‘Rajyoga Meditation’ and Yoga Fusion Dance by BK Sisters.
Other organizations participated which in the Fest are Patanjali, The Art of Living, Isha Foundation, Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute, Pune, The Yoga Institute, Mumbai, Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram, Chennai, SVYASA University, Bangalore, Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, Delhi and Shivshakti Yoga Vidhya Kendra, Hubli.
